Strategic Plan for Players

• The program will grow with Elite Teams being added and in tune our partner affiliated clubs growth plan.
• Players eligible through Premier UK’s NCYSA affiliated Clubs Program will receive an exclusive invitation to the program. The program will coincide with NCYSA and provide additional games and tournaments to it’s members
• Continual development both physically, mentally, technically and tactically will allow members to pursue collegiate avenues.
• Players will be exposed to many avenues of success to grow them as a player, ranging from challenging training, college guidance and profile building and nutritional information while building character and mental toughness for the long road ahead.
• Teams will compete in high profile tournaments to gain match experience and exposure to College and University coaches.
• Players will have opportunities to be seen and trained by Professional Clubs Academy staff in ID Camps formulated specifically to provide a vision of what it means to be a successful soccer player.

Premier UK Elite

The Premier UK Elite Academy Teams will be formed with players aged between  U13 through U18. Teams will compete in recognized US Club Tournaments across the United States. The expectations of each team are determined by the Premier UK Coaching Staff and players are constantly evaluated.  Through correct development and individual desire it is expected that many of the players will be identified to play at the collegiate or semi/professional team levels.

Formation of Teams

To gain acceptance into the Premier UK Elite Team, Premier UK Staff will evaluate the player in the NCYSA Club environment. A written invitation will then be sent to the player to take part.

Training & Games

Training is offered once a month for 10 months (each session lasting approximately 3 hours).  The coaching staff will identify a minimum of 4 US Club Soccer Tournaments that host high levels of competition. The schedule will work alongside NCYSA Soccer and allow players to still compete for thier NCYSA Teams. Tournanments will be planned in the summer and winter break and cause no conflict with NCYSA Programs.
The program will focus on developing individual skills,  developing team dynamics, and creating a challenging and fun environment for the players to develop technically and tactically.  College Recruitment Seminars will be offered to educate both the parents and the players. All games will be closely video taped to help build profiles for each player.

Monthly training will be held in Mebane, NC every third Sunday of the month. Training sessions will last for 3 hours.

Elite teams spend a greater amount of time focused on training to improve as individuals and as a team. The teams and players receive direct feedback and evaluations. To round-out the complete training environment, Academy teams are tested in their physical & technical capabilities using the Myskilz testing methodology. Each athlete then gains a greater understanding of how they compare physically against their peers and what they need to do to achieve their optimal performance levels.

Coaching Staff

Andy Thompson, Executive Director of Premier UK Soccer will be Head Coach for each Premier UK Elite. Assistant Coaches will be qualified members of Premier UK’s Coaching Staff.

Uniforms

Teams will compete in Premier UK Uniforms in affiliation with

West Ham United F.C a professional partner club from the United Kingdom. Players will be put through an identification process for West Ham United and take part in I.D Camps across North Carolina.

Collegiate Pathway

Premier UK and it’s staff members will help players build a ‘College Player Profile’ through game tapes, evaluations, fitness testing and college seminars. Staff members and valuable contacts will asses players contact College Couches and provides avenues of success.

Sponsorship Opportunities Available

Premier UK is still seeking sponsors for the teams. Sponsors can make donations towards a uniforms/ equipment and be represented on the Premier UK Uniform and website.

Premier UK Team Academies are designed for the team that is looking for the most intense, physically demanding, challenging, yet fun and enjoyable pre- season training. We aim to provide a brilliant total soccer experience that students will enjoy and benefit from regardless of their skill level.

Premier UK offers the Team Academy camps during the summer and the winter pre-season. Our camps will give your team the skills and focus needed for a truly successful season.

The camp is available for teams aged 8 – 18. The academies will take place over five days – three hours per day. A minimum of twelve students per team is required with a maximum of eighteen. The cost of the camp will be $100 per student; this will include fifteen hours of top level coaching, a Premier UK T-shirt and an in-depth personal evaluation.

Each Premier UK coach will meet with the team coach before the camp and throughout the week in order to develop new ideas and strategies and to customize the training to meet the specific needs of the team.
